Blog 4

Still no email back. I'll try asking on Twitter, but after that, I'll contact someone else. I'm not sure who, but I'm sure I'll have a mentor by November 10th at the most. I am confident we can begin filming in possibly November, after Thanksgiving. I have to write out the plot and begin working on the script.

I'm kind of freaking out about the mentor thing right now. I honestly wasn't expecting a reply due to the fact that Toby Turner is an incredibly busy man, but I was sort of hoping for at least a slight indication that he could or could not help me. Like I said, i'll contact someone else. Then there's the Documentary part.

I'm going to have to do research. I guess that is why i'm freaking out. There's this problem with researchers of Slender Man. If they know too much, they disappear without a trace. May I remind you that Slender Man's victims disappear? I'm not saying it'll happen, but I probably won't sleep for a while just in case... (Not really)

Mentor, Plot, and Presentation

I just sent an email to Toby Turner requesting his mentorship and am eagerly awaiting a response. The moment a mentor was brought into question, I immediately said to myself: "Toby Turner." I'm kind of a fan, and his video quality is fantastic. I'm kind of hoping he can be in the movie as the main character's older brother who raised her after their parents died in a "Car Accident."

I am not yet sure of when I am presenting my pitch. I'm probably going to make a Prezi to present said pitch. I really do have to get together with Jillian to start our presentation. This is going to be cool.

I have thought out a basic plot for my film in my head. So far, a crew member gave me an idea that a girl goes antiques shopping and finds the hourglass from these pictures in a box with the operator symbol on it and investigates. I still have no idea who to cast as Slenderman, but the main character is almost definitely cast. We are doing this!

20% Project: Part Two

As I have recounted in a previous manuscript, my best friend Jillian and I will be making a film about Slenderman. I have been obsessed with this:
for about three years now. My film will be part documentary, part psychological horror. My inspiration draws from my obsession. The need my product stems from is the need for people to know the truth about this topic. My target audience is anyone and everyone who will not be terrified of the topic. I chose this audience because it's the most convenient.
